Forum-theatre scenes were performed at the Green Hall of A. Tsereteli University. Forty-five students and three teachers participated in the performance. There were performed five scenes which reflected the relationships between mother and child and young couple.
Young attendees were involved in the discussion after the performance. They offered different solutions to the raised problems. The scene about a young couple caused the liveliest debate.
- "This problem is very painful for us. Many girls are disappointed in their first love. The performed scene is a good example for young people, how they should avoid such a problem,"- Nana Goletiani, a student.
- "Forum theater shows us how to raise an issue in society that it made us think and take care of its solution", - Giorgi Urushadze, a student of the faculty of psychology.

Schoolchildren and teachers of the Georgian-American school "Progress" (Kutaisi) expressed great interest in the forum-theater of Fund "Sukhumi". This was obvious from the first minutes of the performance.
The schoolchildren and teachers were actively involved in the performance, as required by the specifics of the forum-theatre.
They expressed their opinions in questionnaires filled in by them after the performance.
Anna Asatiani: "I like such performances very much. They clearly express the problems of human relations".
Georgi Shavgulidze: "Such performances are very interesting, and the main is that they are useful in our age, since the forum-theatre shows real situations.
It is obvious from the participants' evaluations that the performance fulfilled its mission.

About 60 schoolchildren attended the Forum-theater performance of Fund "Sukhumi" in the public school № 7 of Senaki.
Most of the audience was involved in the discussion. Girls were especially active. They played different roles and tried to find solutions to problematic situations.
The boys were excited by the small performance on the theme of drug addiction. They joined the performance and discussion.
"It's very interesting art that clearly shows us the challenges of our generation" - said one of the active spectators Kakha Giorgobiani.

Actors of the Forum-theatre of Fund "Sukhumi” presented six scenes for the school children of JiuliShartavaSchool # 6 of AbkhazAutonomousRepublic. The Director of the theatre Magda Chikhladze told the attendees that the objective of the forum-theatre was to eradicate violence in family and in society.
After watching the real scenes young people expressed the desire to have a frank conversation. In the discussion about the harmful habits of adolescents (drug addiction, idleness) were involved boys too. The schoolgirls Mariam Kartozia and Nino Kurashvili played improvised scenes.
"Such plays help young people make the right choice", - said participants of the forum-theatre.
Forum-theatre performances of Fund "Sukhumi” were showed within the framework of the 16-days campaign for students of Kutaisi A. Tsereteli University and members of JSC "Kutaisi Automotive Plant".
After the performances, the audience and actors tried to find a way out of the situations of violence. All the discussion participants agreed with the opinion that all must struggle against violence.
Within the framework of
the 16-day campaign in the school of Abkhaz Autonomous Republic located on
Nikea St. in Kutaisi were showed forum-theatre performances of Fund "Sukhumi”.
The School children were
very interested in the performances. They tried to express their opinion about
scenes of violence, make their impact, talked on how they would relieve such
situations and avoid violence.
"Observation of such
scenes encourages us to strive for peace non-violent relations. If there is no
violence in families, our future will be secured”, - this was the schoolchildren’s
opinion.
For the second time the youth forum theatre of Fund "Sukhumi” showed regular performances by the invitation of the local governments of the schools # 31 and # 30 in Kutaisi.
Crowded audience consisting of senior pupils was waiting for the Forum-theatre actors. Pupils carefully watched scenes of domestic violence and actively participated in the discussion at the end of the performances.
The forum theater performances of deep content increase our level of general education, teach us to protest forms of violence and fight against it, help to overcome the problem of violence ", - said the senior pupil.

In
September there were held two Forum theatre performances in public schools № 14
(Kutaisi) and № 2 (Senaki). High school students were attentively watching the
scenes of violence in family, school, and against the elderly. "The forum
theatre actors strongly resist a rapist character and evoke a sense of regret
in him" - said the young audience.
"The
forum theater performances contribute to the solution of problems existing in
society. In my opinion, these scenes have made many young people think", -
Lika Khorava (a pupil of Senaki school).
Adolescents
expressed the view that society should be mobilized in order to eliminate all
forms of violence.
In June, the Forum-theatre held four performances – at the School №14 in Kutaisi, in the Central Park of Tskhaltubo, and in the villages Khurcha and Koki.
The theatre addresses many problematic themes: domestic violence, violence among young people. The specific of the forum-theater causes a particular interest of audience in performances.
After each forum-theater performance there are held discussions with the involvement of audience. During the discussion at one of the performances, young people said that the forum theater performances raise their awareness and activity and help address problems associated with violence.

In February Forum-theatre showed 2 plays in public schools № 4 and 35 of Kutaisi.
The presented scenes were relevant to students of both schools. Adolescents were particularly active discussing domestic violence, violence in school, against the elderly and the problems associated with the selection of professions.
According to the attendees it is necessary that the society express more protest to various forms of violence, and actively fight against it.

The Forum-theatre of Fund "Sukhumi” showed its performance in the public school # 17 in Kutaisi. The performance was attended by 45 pupils. They actively involved in discussing of every scene and suggested various solutions.They believe that if there is a conflict situation in the family, the best solution would be if the young couple will live separately, as cohabitation of several generations contributes to conflicts and violence.
On January 31st the forum-theater was showed in the school # 15. It was obvious that such performances were new for the audience although they were active. Very soon, the audience came up with their solutions to the problem.

Youth Forum-Theatre of Fund "Sukhumi" continues to work within the framework of the campaign. On December 2nd a performance was showed in Kutaisi literary club. The meeting was attended by members of the literary club, senior pupils and members of the local self governments of Kutaisi schools.
There were showed three scenes on the topic of violence. The audience watched the performance with great interest. Then there was carried out a discussion. Almost all of the attendees expressed the opinion that such measures are like a step forward on the way of violence prevention.
In the hall of Kutaisi State University there was held a demonstration-discussion of the short film "One ordinary day, shot by girls-leaders of fund "Sukhumi". At the beginning of the meeting representatives of Fund "Sukhumi” told the audience about the 16-day campaign against violence and then screened a film.
The main character of the film has difficult situation in the family, which prevents her from establishing relations with her peers. As a result, she was lonely and rejected by society.
Discussing the film the audience considered that the problem of violence was too exaggerated in the film. There was showed psychological impact that could not be considered as violence.
Within the framework of the 16-day campaign Forum-theatre of Fund "Sukhumi" held a presentation at school № 31 in Kutaisi, which was attended by more than 40 senior pupils as well as the school Director and several teachers.
After the presentation, students actively engaged in the discussion, tried to change several scenes of violence with their alternatives and proposed solutions to the problems.
According to the participants, discussion of the problem of violence by the Forum-theatre was rather effective. In their words "everything is happening before our eyes, and one might wish to resist any form of violence."
Very often performances of the Forum-theatre of Fund "Sukhumi" are held in different towns and schools since future generations is the main resource, which must fight to eradicate the problem of violence. This is a common problem and must be solved with support of all sectors of society.
In October the forum-theater had two performances in Kutaisi public schools # 10 and 21. Presented scenes were relevant to pupils of both schools. Adolescents actively discussed scenes of violence and found way outs.
For example:
- Let’s inform teacher about this fact because she should take certain measures. Adolescents should have a dialogue.
- The third person should not interfere in relations between spouses. In the presented stage mother-in-law and sister-in-law play negative role and contribute to the development of family conflicts.
- Young family should live separately!
According to the pupils, society should express more protest to various forms of violence and work actively against them.

Youth appears at the entrance of the central Park of Bolnosi. With their usual orderliness they start to decorate the scene. There appeared inscriptions which attracted the attention of the audience:
- Youth Forum-Theatre of Cultural Humanitarian Fund "Sukhumi"
- Stop violence, don’t be indifferent!
- Non-violent society - our choice!
- Together Against Violence!
- Do you want a world without violence? Make your own choice!
For Bolnisi youth the specific of the forum-theater was very topical and unusual.
"Brave viewers" played the roles of actors and found a positive way out of every scene of violence.
Such performances of the Forum-theatre were held in Kutaisi, in the school № 5 of AbkhazAutonomousRepublic.

The youth Forum-theatre of Fund "Sukhumi” continues showing performances. In June there were arranged two performances in the school "Goni in Kutaisi (11.06.10) and in Central park of Tskhaltubo (25.06.10).
From the very beginning of the performance spectators understood specific of Forum-theatre and actively involved in discussion of every scenery.
Participants mentioned unanimously that society should express more protest to different forms of violence and act against it. Every step directed at prevention of violence is important for healthy development of the future generation.
Performances made spectators think seriously about the problem. This was the objective of the forum-theatre: to mobilize society against domestic violence.
